FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Sydney Park Hotel accommodation is located at Level 1, 631 King St, Newtown, at the southern edge of the Newtown precinct.
TRANSPORT TO THE HOTEL
A taxi from the airport will cost around $25. Alternatively, you can catch a train from the airport to Redfern, then to St Peters station, which is a one-minute walk to the hotel.
Our inner-city location means we don’t have any off-street guest parking, but unless you’re planning on leaving Sydney during your travels, you probably won’t need to drive while you’re here. Sydney Park Hotel is walking distance from a range of excellent restaurants and bars in Newtown and on the train line and bus routes connecting you to the rest of Sydney. If you do have a car, street parking is available (both timed and free parking available).
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in is 2pm. Due to the small size of our hotel, we cannot confirm a request for an early check-in until the day of travel. If a room is vacant the night prior, this is no issue. We are more than happy to hold your bags at reception until check-in at 2pm. We have an extended check out of 11am so you can sleep a little longer! This means we cannot extend this time any further. Again, we are happy to hold your bags whilst you explore Newtown’s offerings.
Our rooms do not have Air-con. All rooms are fitted with ceiling fans and extra fans and heaters are available on request.
All rooms share bathroom facilities with the other rooms. There are separate female and male bathrooms with two showers and one toilet in each. No room have private ensuites due to the hotel being heritage listed.
